EPS packaging can be re-used as multi-trip packaging, for example, for the internal transport of partially assembled goods. Another simple re-use of the packaging is to grind it and use it as soil conditioner to improve drainage and aeration. Have you ever noticed those white speckels in your potting soil?  Yep, that's EPS... We also grind it and re-mold the old material into new packaging.

Molded Foam can also be re-manufactured into consumer products like coat hangers, CD jewel cases and agricultural trays.

With more than 200 collection sites in the U.S. and Canada, EPS generates several million pounds of post-consumer EPS annually. Working with nationally recognized OEMS, EPS manufacturers have developed an effective recycling infrastructure for post-consumer EPS packaging. It can be easily recycled into new foam packaging or durable consumer goods such as cameras or video cassette casings, and due to its resiliency, can be recycled over and over again.
