Materials

Foam Fabricators offers a variety of materials for your shape molded and fabricated foam products. We have tested these materials extensively, and we are confident that you'll be able to find the right material to fit your needs.

Foam Fabricators' design teams utilize a material-neutral approach to our projects. This approach provides you with the optimum solution for your requirements. Molded expanded foam plastics can be used singularly or integrated with other materials such as fabricated foam, wood, corrugated paperboard, or thermoformable plastic.

Foam Fabricators' foam molding facilities have state-of-the-art processing equipment to manufacture products from a variety of expanded foam plastic materials including polystyrene, polyethylene, polypropylene and inter-polymers.

Here are the materials we offer:

Expanded Polystyrene (EPS)
Expanded polystyrene (EPS) properties exhibit good strength, good first drop cushioning performance, and excellent insulation value. EPS is often utilized for packaging consumer products as well as for insulated shippers and automotive components.

High Impact Expanded Polystyrene (RMER and ARCEL)
High Impact Expanded Polystyrene performance features provide enhanced multiple drop cushioning properties. Applications include packaging for high technology, consumer electronics, appliance and other high-value items.

Expanded Polyethylene (EPE)
Expanded Polyethylene (EPE) material characteristics include exceptional elasticity, impact strength and excellent chemical resistance. EPE is often used in protective packaging applications, especially high-value, fragile products such as electronics. Other applications include solvent resistant packaging.

Expanded Polypropylene (EPP)
Expanded Polypropylene (EPP) demonstrates high energy absorption and excellent cushioning over a broad loading range. It has a high service temperature. EPP is often utilized for heat resistant packaging and energy-absorbing automotive components. High-value, fragile items such as electronics are often packaged with EPP.
