Energy Recovery


Recycling is not always the best alternative when managing waste, be this for economic, environmental (very dirty and contaminated waste) or logistic reasons or due to a combination of these considerations.
For these cases many studies and ecobalances have shown that for numerous plastics the best solution is to clean-burn them, recover the energy and avoid the flow of waste to the landfill.
Waste combustion and energy recovery for electricity or heat generation constitutes a very effective alternative when trying to maximize usage and benefit from plastic material resources. Like all other plastics, EPS has a high caloric value.
